About Gawsworth Fisheries
Set in the heart of Cheshire’s beautiful countryside, Gawsworth Fisheries is one of the area’s premier day ticket fishing venues, ideally located between Macclesfield and Congleton.
As a family-run fishery, we are proud to offer a welcoming and peaceful place for anglers of all abilities to enjoy a great day by the water. With 16 acres of water across our lakes and private canal, there is plenty of variety, character and natural beauty to discover.
Our waters include Wood Pool, Park Pool, Coppice Pool, Spring Bank Pool and the Serpentine Canal, each offering its own style of fishing and unique experience. From relaxing pleasure fishing and busy coarse sessions to deeper waters, specimen Carp and exciting Catfish, Gawsworth Fisheries has something for every angler.
Whether you are a regular visitor, a club angler, a beginner, or someone hoping for their next memorable catch, our fishing lakes provide the perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Opening Times
Gawsworth Fisheries opens at 7.00 am and closes at 7.00 pm during summer hours ( winter hours closes at 5.00 pm).
No booking required, set up on the bank, payment by cash to the bailiff.
Night fishing by arrangement with the bailiff - ID required plus £20 annual fee for the permit plus fishing fees as listed.
